NEIGHBORHOOD CONNECTIONS
THESE ORGANIZATIONS ARE HOUSED IN OUR BUILDING
DISTRICT 2 COMMUNITY COUNCIL
The District 2 Community Council represents the northeast corner of St. Paul as one of the city’s official citizens’ participation organizations. The council is organized to advocate for the neighborhoods giving them an effective voice in government decisions. Zoning, development, and property upkeep concerns are addressed. The promotion of block clubs, outreach to new immigrants, recycling, and crime prevention efforts all help protect and enhance the area as a desirable place to live.
BLOCK NURSE PROGRAM
The Living at Home – Block Nurse Program is a community resource enabling senior citizens to continue living independently in their own homes. Volunteers connect with people to provide social interaction, transportation, and referrals to other services that help them maintain a safe and healthy lifestyle.
